Andy Marsh on CNBC “Squawk on the Street”!

Today, March 7, 2014, in the 11:00 am eastern hour, our CEO Andy Marsh will be interviewed on CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street” show, which takes place live on the floor of the NY Stock Exchange at Wall and Broad Streets.

As a major newsmaker right now, Plug Power was selected for inclusion in the program. Andy will talk about his vision for Plug Power and the phenomenal growth that the company has seen recently.

Two main contributors to this growth, and subsequent rise in stock price of nearly 4,700% off its 52-week low, are: (1) the launch of GenKey, a comprehensive solution that incorporates GenDrive fuel cells, GenFuel hydrogen fuel supply and infrastructure development, and GenCare onsite maintenance service; and (2) a milestone contract with Walmart, signed in February 2014, that authorizes the implementation of GenKey at an unprecedented six separate Walmart sites over the next two years, starting inQ2 2014.

Just prior to Andy’s appearance, CNBC will air footage that was shot on location at Plug Power earlier this week. Viewers will get an inside glimpse of the laboratory, testing, and manufacturing areas within the Plug Power facilities. It is here that the GenDrive hydrogen fuel cell units are developed and produced.
