CHRIS SURIANO

Chris Suriano joined Plug as Executive Vice President of Service in 2019, bringing nearly two decades of experience in the Power Generation Services business in a variety of technical, commercial, operational, and P&L leadership roles. During his first four years at Plug, he successfully implemented the execution strategy for Plug’s Global Services expansion, including overseeing over 300% growth in revenue and install base for Material Handling, Hydrogen and Electrolyzer services around the world.  In this role, Mr. Suriano has been pivotal in positioning Plug for success within the Hydrogen Ecosystem through world leading customer experience, business leadership and service operational excellence which has resulted in relationship expansion with Plug’s most important clients.

In January 2024, Mr. Suriano took on expanded responsibilities as General Manager, Hydrogen Generation and Services.   In this role, he has responsibility for ensuring Plug’s success in generating, delivering, commissioning and servicing the Plug hydrogen network reliably and at scale for customers globally.   With green hydrogen core to the success of the Plug ecosystem, Mr. Suriano provides focused leadership for this important growth segment as Plug continues to solve for decarbonization of the world’s transportation, energy and industrial infrastructure.

Prior to joining Plug, Mr. Suriano served as Region Director for Field Core, Inc., a GE company where he led the successful startup of a new Field Services organization in the Northern United States. He has held multiple leadership positions over the course his career, including Service Director for Power Service, Operations Leader for Power Generation Service, and Global Steam Turbine Leader for Power Generation Service.

Mr. Suriano earned his bachelor’s in electrical engineering from Manhattan College and currently resides in the New York area with his wife and three children.
