RICK MASON

Rick has been with Plug since 2000, serving in multiple manufacturing, quality, and engineering roles before moving into the role of VP of Operations in 2012.  He shifted to a commercial position of Vice President, Product and Program Management in 2021 to oversee the Applications Business Unit product lines and then transitioned to the role of Vice President, NextGen Solutions in 2023. There, he led the development and creation of new innovative solutions and accelerated the adoption of hydrogen into new and existing markets. Mr. Mason was promoted in February 2024 to his current role as Executive Vice President, Global Supply Chain, leading the company’s global strategy in advanced sourcing, procurement, materials management, inventory control, sales and operations planning, distribution, logistics, and supplier quality programs.

Prior to Plug, Mr. Mason held engineering roles with Borg Warner Automotive and Alcoa.

Mr. Mason earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Clarkson University and holds an MBA, management of technology from Syracuse University.
