Plug Hosts 2022 Annual Symposium — Watch it Here
Plug hosted its fourth annual Symposium this week at the Plug Innovation Center and Gigafactory in Rochester N.Y. where thousands of global attendees tuned in to learn about the company’s strides in making the adoption of green hydrogen easy and affordable.
Joining Plug executives at the 2022 Symposium were global customers and thought leaders committed to decarbonizing the economy with green hydrogen solutions, including FreezPak co-CEOs and founders, Dave and Michael Saoud. During the Symposium, leaders announced an expanded agreement with FreezPak to offer Plug’s hydrogen and fuel cell solutions at nine additional sites. Read the press release here.
Plug also announced the launch of a joint venture with the Olin Corporation, beginning with a 15-ton-per-day green hydrogen production plant in Louisiana. Read the press release here.
The Symposium was held from the world’s first PEM electrolyzer gigafactory. With a production capacity of more than 1 gigawatt, it is one of the largest fuel cell and electrolyzer manufacturing facilities in the world. A virtual tour of the gigafactory can be viewed here.
